Praying a Public Prayer
Am I praying to the audience or am I praying to God on the audience's behalf? If I am only praying to the audience, my prayer becomes a sermon and then is no longer a prayer.

The Question Is...
Mercy or Justice? Do any of us really want to receive what we deserve? My God is a merciful God and if justice is to be served, it will be served when I can be as merciful to others as God is to me.

Shared Toil
One man could not do it all. One man could not own all of the equipment needed. The other farmers needed to know that we would help them and we needed to know that they would help us. When this worked we would share manpower and resources. This worked to the benefit of all concerned.
